Hi, I’m Lyn

Lyn has over 15 years of experience directly in the event and hospitality sector of the industry with event and wedding setups of all kinds being second nature. She has arranged and managed event spaces, bars, and all types of catering services.

She loved working in the industry but hated it when suppliers let her and her staff down without regard to schedules, cleanliness, and communication.

Fed up with trying to work with the catering and crockery hire industry as it (barely) functioned, she and Rich decided to build the company in an industry that they always wanted to work with.

You’ll see Lyn’s friendly face around the office or even on stage as she is also a regional actor and singer as well as a teacher with True Colours Theatre Company.

Rich knew that he could find a better way to do event and catering equipment hire with the right management and attention to detail

After more than 30 years managing hotels and Venues in the North East and organising and delivering some of the most high profile conferences and events, he wanted to create a better, more reliable service for hospitality businesses that needed assistance for their requirements

By combining Rich’s experience in the industry and with Lyn’s capable wedding and event management experience, they launched Equippe, event and catering equipment hire service. We have worked with event and conference events like the Glass House Gateshead, Fire station Sunderland Great North Run Company, and the Hexham Winter Gardens
